As a developer and programmer, we all have local server or/and an Integrated Development Environment(IDE) install on our computer to test/execute code that we write. There are times a coding idea will pop in your brain but your PC isn’t present. maybe you’ve got a dead computer and you have a code snippet to run, what will you do? I found myself searching for a web-based tool that can execute PHP code without having to download anything when i traveled from home without my laptop.
Here are a list of website that can run and also offer debugging of your favorite programming code online.
To use it, choose a programming language, enter your source code and input data into text boxes. Then check or uncheck run code (whether to execute your program) and private (whether not to list your code in the recent codes page) checkboxes, click the submit button and watch your snippet being executed.
codepad is an online compiler/interpreter, and a simple collaboration tool. It’s a pastebin that executes code for you. You paste your code, and codepad runs it and gives you a short URL you can use to share it. Paste the URL into chat or email to get help or to show someone how to do something. Or just try things out when you don’t have an interpreter handy. It works well on many phones
Viper7 is an other online editor. Their debugging tools are setup for PHP output where you have choices between PHP5 and PHP4.
Runcode is yet another online code editor to run code snippets in many languages from your browser.
PythonAnywhere is a Python development and hosting environment that displays in your web browser and runs on our servers. They’re already set up with everything you need. It’s easy to use, fast, and powerful. There’s even a useful free plan.
