Verify Google Adsense without PIN but a Proof of Identity Document

To say the postal service in my country is terrible is an understatement. I remember thrice requesting for my Google Adsense PIN which I never received (lost in transit).

To protect the security of accounts, Google requires you to verify your address before they can send you payment. To do so, a Personal Identification Number (PIN) is mailed to your payment address. You’ll then need to enter this PIN within your account.

You have 6 months from the date your first PIN is generated to enter it in your account. After 6 months, your account will stop displaying ads.

Few weeks after the expected delivery date of the second PIN, my Adsense temporarily stopped serving ads.

I never received my PIN, how do I now verify my Adsense account? This was the question that was going through my mind.

A friend of mine recently was experiencing similar problem. I showed him how I got mine verified simply by submitting my Driver’s License (you can use submit any proof of identity in order to confirm the validity of the postal address set in your AdSense account) to Google.

To get your Adsense verified without PIN, go to Adsense help’s Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Fill and submit the form with your Name, Gmail Address, AdSense Publisher ID, and a proof of identity document.

In few hours, you will receive a mail synonymous to the image below that you’ve fulfilled the address verification requirement for AdSense.

Adsense Personal Identification Number (PIN) verified

According to Adsense Help, you can only send a copy of your official identity document or domestic bill only if you’ve requested your maximum of 3 PINs and haven’t received any of them within 4 weeks of your last PIN request but I verified my Adsense via my Driver’s license few days after requesting for the second PIN.

Conclusion

Few months after getting my Adsense verified, a post office official delivered all three requested PIN to me.

Thank God I didn’t wait for them else my account would have been dormant pending when I receive the PIN.
